American politician, commentator and author Sarah Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho to Charles R. “Chuck” Heath, and Sarah “Sally”. She was educated at Wasilla High School and latter enrolled to University of Idaho, Moscow. In 1984 she was joining Miss Wasilla beauty pageant and was finished third in the Miss Alaska pageant.

She was started her first career by sportscaster for KTUU-TV and KTVA-TV in Anchorage. She then elected for Wasilla City Council in 1992. Her career then increased when selected as the president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors in 1999. She was defeating former Democratic governor Tony Knowles by a margin of 48.3% to 40.9%. She was named as one of the best governor in Alaska with several policy that makes her loved by the people until her resignation on July 3, 2009. Her name was widely recognize by international people when she was joining 2008 vice-presidential campaign for John McCain presidential campaign, from Republican party. Though she wasn’t elected as the vice president due Obama was defeated McCain, Sarah Palin was named as one of the most influential women in the world in this decade.
