A.J Cook Career
AJ Cook began at the age of four years with the dance and decided at 17 to become an actress. She was inspired to acting, inter alia, through the movie Dirty Dancing. Her first appearance as an actress had Cook in a 1997 McDonald’s commercial. In 1999, she was then given a role in the feature film The Virgin Suicides. After a starring role in the short-lived television series Higher Ground in 2000, she appeared in the following years mainly in horror films. She played leading roles in Ripper – Letters from Hell and Final Destination 2, 2003 it belonged to the regular cast of Mystery series Tru Calling – reloaded fate !, but it was also discontinued after a short time. From 2005 to 2010 she starred in the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds as “JJ” a major role. In April 2011 she signed a contract again for Criminal Minds and returned with it in the same role for the seventh season back. In March 2012, she got a role in found footage horror thriller Who, which was filmed and directed by William Brent Bell in Bucharest.
