Gina Joy Carano is an American actress, television personality, fitness model, and former mixed martial artist (MMA) who is the daughter of Dana Joy (née Cason) and Glenn Thomas Carano. She was born in Dallas, Texas under Aries sun sign. She was attended Trinity Christian High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and being a basketball star at that time. She then continued her study to University of Nevada, Reno for a year and then University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Gina Carano career
Carano came about Muay Thai to MMA. Their first fight she had the fight organizer EliteXC on June 10, 2006 in Las Vegas. Up in October 2008 was followed by another six fights that all ended victoriously until in August 2009 in the main fight of the Strikeforce Carano vs. Event Cyborg defeated for the first time. In addition, she was a part of the new edition of Gladiator Crush American Gladiators. Carano trained at Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts. Her acting debut Carano 2009 in a supporting role of the film Blood and Bone – revenge at any cost. In the movie Haywire director Steven Soderbergh from the year 2012, she played her first leading role. Since the beginning August 2012 Carano was during the filming of the sixth part of the series The Fast and the Furious before the camera. The film appeared on 23 May 2013 the cinemas.
