Kathrin Romary “Kate” Beckinsale is an English actress, the only child of actor Richard Beckinsale and actress Judy Loe and was born in London, England. She is Leo and has been appeared in front of camera since the age of four. After her father died, her widowed mom then remarried to director Roy Battersby who has close relationship with her. She was educated at Godolphin and Latymer School in Hammersmith, West London and involved with the Orange Tree Youth Theatre. She is also read French and Russian literature at New College, Oxford.
