Miranda Leigh Lambert-Shelton is an American country music who was born in Longview, Texas and was raised in Lindale, Texas. She is the daughter of Lambert, was a police officer who later became a private investigator and Miranda who work with her father too. She is Scorpio and appeared on the Johnnie High Country Music Revue in Arlington, Texas. Since then people noticed her brilliant skill in singing.

Miranda Lambert Career
While still in high school, Miranda began her singing career. She faced the house band of the Reo Palm Isle of Longview Ballroom, on a stage that had already seen among others spend a few stars like Willie Nelson and Elvis Presley.In 2003, Miranda Lambert auditioned for the competition Nashville Star, where she finished third. September 15, 2003, she signed with Columbia Records.
Her first single; Me and Charlie Talking (co-written with his father) came out in summer 2004 and was the title track of her first album Kerosene contains 12 songs, 11 of which she has participated in the writing. The album placed number 1 in the ranking of the best country music albums and became a platinum record for over a million copies sold throughout the United States. May 1, 2007 came the second album named Miranda Lambert Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She is the author of eight of the 11 songs on this album including the single Famous in a Small Town, its greatest success to date. In 2005, for the 40th Awards from the Academy of Country Music in Las Vegas, she won the prize Cover Girl Fresh Face of Country Music.
In 2007 she was awarded a Grammy Award nominated for Best Performance in a Musical for her country singer Kerosene single. She also won the prize for Best New Female by the Academy of Country Music.
