Morales began her career in the air on News 12 – The Bronx as the host of the first morning. She also served as camera operator, editor and producer of the network. Prior to joining MSNBC, Morales served as weekend anchor / reporter and co-anchor of the morning at WVIT-TV in Hartford, Connecticut, where she reported the shootings at Columbine, Hurricane Floyd, the presidential election 2000, and September 11, 2001.
