Sigourney Weaver is an American actress and film producer, who was born in Manhattan, New York City, under Libra sun sign. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Inglis an actress, and the NBC television executive and television pioneer Sylvester “Pat” Weaver. She was attended Ethel Walker School, a girls’ preparatory school in Simsbury, Connecticut. She then continued study to The Chapin School and The Brearley School. After that, she also entered Sarah Lawrence College as well as Stanford University. She then received Master of Fine Arts degree at the Yale University School of Drama in 1974.
