Sushmita Sen is an Indian film actress, model and beauty pageant title holder. She is the daughter of Shuber Sen, a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander, and Subhra Sen, a jewelry designer and owner of a Dubai-based store. Sen is a Scorpio and she was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, India into Bengali family. For education, Sen was attended Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi and St. Ann’s High School in Secunderabad. Her hobby is writing poet and she was named as first Indian woman to win Miss Universe Contest in 1994.

Sushmita Sen Career
After winning the title of Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen became known. She is the first Indian to win the title. That same year, the Indian Aishwarya Rai won the Miss World title in 1994.Like many Miss India, Sushmita Sen turns later to the cinema. It begins in Dastak where she plays the role of a vulnerable girl kidnapped by a psychopath. Later she played a comic role in Biwi No. 1 (1999) by David Dhawan, the film that made her famous and earned her some awards like the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award in 1999. We also saw Sushmita Sen in a romantic comedy called Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai (2001) along with Abhishek Bachchan, and in Main Hoon Na (2004) with Shahrukh Khan finds it in 2010 Dulha Mil Gaya: An almost perfect husband. Today, with many successful movies and despite some failures, Sushmita Sen is one of famous an Indian actress in Bollywood.
