Urmila Matondkar began her career in Bollywood at the age of 8 years in 1980 in the film Kalyug and Zakol. Between 1984 and 1989 she played children’s parts in six Hindi films and one Malayalam movie but only Masoom nevertheless appreciated by critics.In 1995 Urmila Matondkar turns in Rangeela, in which she plays the role of the lovely Mili, a young girl after modern middle class Bombay who dreams of glory and glitter alongside Aamir Khan.
