Namitha began her carer when crowned as Miss Surat in 2008. In 2011, she joined Miss India pageant. Though ended in fourth position, she was offered with several advertisement contracts like Himani cream & hand soap, Arun Ice Creams, Manikchand Gutka, and Nile herbal shampoo. Namitha made her debut by appeared in the Telugu film Sontham and latter appeared also in Tamil film Aai. Namitha made the Bollywood debut by appeared in Hindi film Love Ke Chakkar Mein.
